One Worship Service on September 14

On September 14, we’ll gather for one BIG worship service. With nearly 1,000 people expected, it’s going to be a powerful morning of worship, community, and celebration—plus we’ll share some very exciting news and a special gift just for you.
A few things to note as you plan your morning
  • Arrive at 9:00 am to allow time for parking, tacos, coffee, childcare check-in, and to get settled.
  • Parking & Shuttle: With such a large crowd, we’ll have offsite parking and a shuttle running. Please help us by coming in one car per household if possible.
  • Childcare: Available for children 4 and under, first come first served.
  • Dress for the weather: We’ll step outside for a short portion toward the end of the service, so plan for the Texas heat (or rain!).
We can’t wait to worship together and celebrate all that God is doing at Christ the King. This is a morning you won’t want to miss!
To all who are spiritually weary and seek rest; to all who mourn and long for comfort; to all who struggle and desire victory; to all who sin and need a Savior; to all who are strangers and want fellowship; to all who hunger and thirst after righteousness; and to all who will come, this church opens wide her doors and offers welcome in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Current Sermon Series

Suffering is a universal experience but how does being a follower of Jesus address suffering? Scripture doesn’t shy away from our pain. Instead, it offers encouragement and reveals a God who not only shares in our suffering but sustains us through it. This fall, we’ll study the letter of First Peter and hear how Peter reminds the church that we are “born again to a living hope”—a hope that meets us in our present trials and promises a day when suffering will be no more.
